Weight loss tip #6



Water is so very important to your health and well-being. At a MINIMUM, you should be drinking half of your body weight in water every day, if you are not doing anything strenuous. If you are working out, you need to add 1 L of water with 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, as this will help replenish electrolytes which are lost with sweat.

Example:
A person who weighs 200 lbs needs to drink 100 ounces of water as a baseline. Add 1L (approximately 34 ounces) of water with a 1/2 t sea salt after your workout each day.

A good way to make sure you get all your water in is to create a rule: no sugary drinks until AFTER you have had all of your water for the day!
